2024 British Photography Awards

I was extremely surprised to find out that my macro photo of a walnut leaf had been shortlisted in this year’s British Photography Awards.

This was an image I was less confident about entering into the awards given that I tend to focus more on photographing invertebrates with the macro lens. I included it in the end to provide a bit more of a range, as you never quite know what the judges are looking for, and I’m now glad I did.

The voting for the People’s Choice award closes on Monday the 4th of November.
